Daily Prayer
Mother had a consistent prayer life. I remember growing up and seeing Mother kneeling beside their bed every morning, praying for many needs on her prayer list. We didn't interrupt her times with the Lord unless we had an emergency. Some days she had another time of prayer beside the bed, praying for us children, to learn to love and serve Jesus with all their hearts, and for wisdom for Daddy and herself, to know how to raise them. Some time after moving to KY, the prayer position changed to sitting because of her body needs, but the fervent times of daily prayer didn't change.
